We take the confidentiality of our users very seriously. When submitting incidents, we only collect the minimum information needed from that user. Additionally, each user is prompted to allow access to Relay before any information is accessed.
We also try very hard to make it clear to you what information you're sharing, and when you're sharing it. As just one example, if you want to send in an incident report, we display (and let you modify!) your contact information before you hit the send button. We think this sort of transparency and control is really important for technology in general, but especially so on a platform like ours.
At no time does Relay track any user in a directly identifiable way unless that user explicitly provides that information. Relay only shares the information you provide with the agencies who are using Relay.
