If you're in the United States, then yes. Like a 911 for non-emergencies, Relay works no matter where you are. However, some features are only available when a city directly integrates with our platform. As we continue to work to get every city to adopt, you are still able to submit reports in non-adopted areas. Relay will submit these reports to your nearby police department on your behalf. Though you will be able to still report in these areas, you will not receive updates on your submissions until those areas are directly integrated.
How does Relay work with first responders?
Relay works directly with public and private agencies to enhance the service they provide in their city. First responders who are using Relay’s service have been trained to respond directly to your reports upon their submission. Reports made outside of jurisdictions using Relay are still delivered to the appropriate agency.
